No, there is not minimum contract length.
You can hire your carer for as short or as long as you require. The length of service is decided between yourself and the carer and clearly stated on the service agreement that you draw up together. If at any time yourself or the carer cancel the visit, notice of 48 hours must be given.
The minimum visit length is one hour per 24 hours, which this can be divided into half-hour visits with the carers consent. We believe that shorter visits do not give the carer enough time to properly care for the client. Our minimum visits length ensure a better standard of care and more meaningful relationship between the carer and the client.
If you come into an agreement to proceed with the bookings for your chosen carer, you agree to the carer/client agreements which come into effect between you and the carer.
The Agreement governs the nature of your contractual agreement with the carer and is a standard agreement that applies for all your engagements via Hearts Kind . Because your carers are self-employed it is not compulsory and are not obligated to use this agreement so they will let you know in advance whether are using different agreement.

Hearts Kind is an introductory agency with the purpose of connecting clients with self-employed carers, specializing in matching the needs of the client with the expertise and experience of the carer. Therefore our platform is not required to be registered with the Care Quality Commission.
As a result of this, we are unable to make changes to a care plan, make changes to the frequency of visits or to take responsibility for replacing a care worker or any direct changes to the activity of the carer in relation to personal care. Our goal is to simply build a network of highly-skilled, self-employed carers to cater to the clients needs.
