Qualities We Look For In A Carer...

We are focused on identifying excellent carers who are:

RESPECTFULAs an experienced carer you will  understand that when a person ages, independence and mental capacity can become stressful. You must respect their life experience, often they still want to maintain as much of their independence as possible. You as a carer must understand and give them the ability to decide for themselves, such as when to get up, what to wear, what to eat and what to do.

EMPATHY AND PATIENCE Becoming older can be confusing, finding it difficult to process every day tasks and life challenge. A good carer must understand the emotions an elderly person may struggle with and not become frustrated when simple tasks take longer. When situation like this arise a good carer will be patient and handle the situation calmly with empathy.

RELIABLE -  A great carer prides themselves on consistency and reliability ensuring care patients are eating, drinking, taking medication properly on time, every time. This helps maintain a trust worthy relationship.

OBSERVANT An elderly person`s physical or mental health can change quickly, and a good carer should pick up on these signs earlier. A carer should be able to identify early signs of underline problems such as a loss of appetite, weight loss or gain, increased confusion or increased irritability. Once identified they'll be able to act quickly and efficiently.

EXPERIENCEDWe believe that experience and having a stand out personality can balance out the importance of qualifications. The correct qualifications are important for specialist care, hands-on experience enables carers to offer the best possible quality of care.

Join Our Mission

We work closely together and are dedicated to making a difference to the lives of older people. Some of us may have a personal connection to care and some of us might have gone through the journey with our loved ones.

Today we all are sharing one crucial mission by reinventing what it means to age and doing everything we can to keep elderly people connected to friends, families, places and routines that matter to them most.

We are all a team working together, sharing our skills and experiences to have a positive impact on our clients and society.

Everything we do comes from the heart, but we can`t do this alone. Whether you want to care for one person or more, whatever you choose it will change someones life.

We'd love to hear from you.

Find A Care Job...

Person-Centred Care

Person-centred care is putting the vulnerable at the centre of everything you do. Our carers understand that the approach to person-centred care is not just about giving people whatever they want, it is about considering peoples desires, values, families, interest, preferences, needs and their lifestyles.

By putting the clients at the heart of the service, the care plan and care delivery reflect on the specific person, resulting in a happier and healthier client.

Creating a Care Plan is an essential and personal guide to caring and can be designed by the client and their carer or family member by speaking about their feelings, lifestyle, wants and future preferences. Their voice will be heard and an accurate care plan can be put together to help you as a client focus on what care you think is required.

All of our carers will understand if a care plan has been produced and will be given access to it, they will have all information to proceed with the care required. Specially, this is very helpful when clients need to be supported with prompt or administration of medication, or there is a DNR order in place.
